photoblog image RUNNING WITH THE NIGHT

RUNNING WITH THE NIGHT

The heart of the city street was beating
Lights from the neons
Turned the dark to day
We were too hot to think of sleeping
We had to get out
Before the magic got away
We were running with the night
Playingin the shadows
Just you and i
Till the morning light

Running with the Night by Lionel Ritchie

I think for me what I've come to love about these themes (and yes I do know the theme is captioned "Free") is that they cause me to go through my archives. Mostly, I'm forced to re-evaluate stuff previously taken in a new way, and maybe then, they might pass my scrutiny before being featured on Shutterchance.com. The above is such an example; from random shots I was taking whilst walking home. And oh, it was taken on the same path as DOWN THE PATHWAY. Though I decided not to include it in my Gosforth Open Field counter.

Its the weekend! Oh joy!

Excellent! Great feeling of speed. Nicely captured! I even wonder how you did this.
deji77: Thanks Sidney, I was walking while I took this shot.

It looks like you were running rather than walking, real sense of urgency. Cool
