This was also taken in front of the Middlesbrough Borough Council office :S Probably tells you all you need to know about Boro! Ironically its also just hitting me now as I'm writing this.... Anyway this is a close-up shot of the
Bottle of Notes monument. Until I took a picture of it, I never really knew what it was about or its significance. Photography not only opens your eyes, but it also expands your horizon :D I'll definitely go back and try and read it for myself what it says.

Mind you, interesting graffit/street art is hard to find cos there are a lot of boring, repetitive messages (suzy loves tom, dick and ..) and far too much tagging (a bit like cats/dogs spraying things to mark out their territory) and not enough graffit/street art that is thoughtful/satirical/funny/quirky and that speaks to us rather than just saying "hey look at me!").
I'd actually meant to say "...not only opens your eyes...". I've corrected it. You should show us your collection. ChrisH also has some interesting ones at:
